Tauranga take out 2008 TR Nats
The 2008 NZ Secondary School’s regatta is over with Tauranga coming out on top over Mahurangi, followed by McLeans and then Westlake Boys.
There was all sorts of weather and students from 24 schools around the country competed.
Our sailors from Hamilton Boy’s High stepped up to the plate and punched above their weight in a heavy-weight and often intense competition.

Protest Hearing: 420 v HYC Boat
Protest was dismissed: invalid protest via not informing the protestee at the first reasonable opportunity.
Lesson: Study the protest rules and regs if you don’t want to have your protest lost over a technicality.
